Miel Romero has honey originating from Catalonia and Aragon. It has a very light colour. 10-35 mm on the Pfund scale. Its aroma is soft, not very intense. Its flavour is sweet and mild with slight acidic notes. Honey has many therapeutic properties. It can be used externally thanks to its antimicrobial and antiseptic properties, as it helps to heal and prevent infections in wounds and superficial burns. Thanks to its astringent and soothing qualities, it is also used in cosmetics: creams, facial cleansing masks, tonics, etc. It is also a good natural preservative and an ally against aging, as it contains antioxidants that slow the appearance of free radicals. Rich in vitamins, minerals and amino acids, honey is also a powerful antimicrobial agent that helps fight colds: a bowl of milk or a very hot infusion with a spoonful of honey is always a good remedy. Among the few minerals it contains, the most common are: calcium, copper, iron, magnesium, manganese, zinc, phosphorus and potassium. Also present are almost half of the existing amino acids, organic acids (acetic and citric, among others) and vitamins of the B complex and vitamins C, D and E. It is recommended to spread it on toast or bread, ideal for breakfast or a snack. Consume within 20 months from packaging date.
