Probios buckwheat and apricot tart, made with buckwheat, without milk, palm oil, and gluten-free. The Other Cereals line offers gluten-free products based on herbaceous plants, as an alternative to corn and rice. Due to their use in the food sector and their nutritional characteristics, the seeds of these plants are often improperly classified as cereals. This tartlet is made with buckwheat, a flowering plant belonging to the Polygonaceae family. Its origin dates back 8,000 years, when it grew spontaneously in Tibet, Siberia, and Manchuria. Later, the Tartars introduced it into the Balkans, and from there it spread throughout Europe. The name Buckwheat (the wheat of the Turks and Saracens) is a clear tribute to its Turkic-Mongolian origins. *The package received may be slightly different from that shown in the product sheet. We recommend this tart for breakfast or for a sweet break. May contain traces of soy. Store at room temperature, away from heat sources and light.
