The three-segment design allows the poles to fold to a compact length for easy transport – either in a backpack or attached to its external straps. The Trail Back model features the reliable FlickLock® length adjustment system, which operates using an external lever clamp. This allows for easy, quick, and secure adjustment of the poles to the desired length, even when wearing gloves or in the rain. The usable length ranges from 100 to 140 cm, making them suitable for most users – regardless of height or terrain. The grips on the Trail Back model are made of soft, dual-density EVA foam, which provides a comfortable grip and good vibration dampening. The foam fits comfortably in the hand, avoiding chafing, and retains grip even in sweaty hands or light rain. The contoured grip provides a natural and stable grip, allowing for greater control over the poles on uneven terrain. The poles feature adjustable wrist straps that enhance stability and relieve strain on your hands during longer hikes. The straps are soft, ventilated, and easy to adjust—you can adjust them in seconds. Carbide tips are mounted on the pole tips, providing excellent grip on hard surfaces like rocks, ice, or roots. These tips are durable and replaceable—they can be easily replaced when worn. Trekking baskets are also included, ideal for walking on soft ground, mud, or sand. The poles are also compatible with larger winter baskets (sold separately), making them a good choice for winter hikes as well.
