Works with a wide range of mobile phone models, including the latest devices from major brands. Unlike other adapters, NexYZ features three directional knobs (X, Y, Z axis) that perfectly align your phone's camera with the eyepiece in seconds, allowing you to capture the perfect image. NexYZ is built for rugged field use with a durable construction featuring a metal frame and polymer body. It fits any eyepiece from 35mm to 60mm in diameter, including telescopes with 1.25-inch and 2-inch eyepieces, spotting scopes, monoculars, and binoculars. NexYZ also attaches to microscopes using the included adapter ring, which reduces the usable diameter down to 25mm, the standard size for microscope eyepieces. A strong spring and threaded twist lock provide a secure two-level grip on optical instruments, ensuring stable imaging. NexYZ accommodates a wide range of smartphones. The phone platform is fully adjustable and fits most devices, typically even with cases still on. Larger "phablet" models also fit and are securely held in place. The spring-loaded clamp allows for quick removal and replacement of your device in seconds. What sets NexYZ apart from other smartphone adapters? Three-axis adjustment. Most adapters require precise manual placement of your phone and offer limited adjustment in only two directions. NexYZ lets you place your phone easily, center it precisely over the eyepiece using the X and Y knobs, then adjust vertically with the Z knob to achieve full field-of-view coverage in your shot. This precise adjustment system is faster and easier to use than other adapters. From setup to shooting, the entire process takes just moments—inserting the phone, attaching NexYZ to the eyepiece, opening the camera app, and centering the lens using the knobs. When switching phones, eyepieces, or optical tools, only minor adjustments are needed to re-center the camera. NOTE: NexYZ fits telescopes, spotting scopes, binoculars, monoculars, and microscopes. It does not fit riflescopes. NexYZ works with most phone cases, but if using a bulky case with added battery or protective features, removal may be necessary for optimal performance. Smartphone Adapter Instructions: For Telescopes, Binoculars, and Spotting Scopes – Squeeze the levers to open the clamps. Position them around the eyepiece and release. Tighten the safety locks. Attach Your Phone – NexYZ works with standard phone cases, but oversized cases must be removed. Expand the sliders, place your phone on the platform with the bottom touching the rubber base, then release the sliders. Your phone is now secure and ready for photography. If needed, adjust tension to ensure a firm hold; refer to the NexYZ Tension Adjustment Guide under Support & Load.
