Sage from El Naturalista, this olanta is used and recommended for menstrual disorders, and control of menopausal symptoms. This plant is recommended for its pharmacological action thanks to its essence, it presents an emmenagogue, antiseptic, estrogenic, eupptic and antisudoral action; flavonoids and phenolic acids, reinforce antiseptic action, and give it an anticholinergic choleretic and spasmolytic activity. Pyrosalvin is an appetite stimulant, digestive, and antiseptic. It is also considered a general tonic and hypoglycemic. Externally it is astringent, due to the presence of tannins, healing, antiseptic and topical antirheumatic. It is indicated for inappetence, asthenia, dyspepsia due to gastrointestinal atony, biliary dyskinesias, hyper-sweating, dysmenorrhea, hyperglycemia, oliguria. In External use: stomatitis, pharyngitis, wounds, vaginitis. It is recommended for internal use to boil 2 minutes and let stand 10 minutes. For external use use 30 to 40 g / l, boil 10 minutes. Apply in the form of compresses, washes, baths, mouthwashes, gargles, vaginal irrigations. It is not recommended during lactation and in people with kidney failure.
