Rods feature smooth surface finish and consistent taper-free profile, allowing controlled passage through narrow tone hole areas without catching. Cloths are square-cut and medium-weight, offering sufficient absorbency for condensation while remaining thin enough to avoid compression resistance inside the bore. The set enables full-tube access: from embouchure hole through the headjoint tenon, across the main body, and into the foot joint. Regular use contributes to stable pad sealing, reduced key spring fatigue, and extended lifespan of cork gaskets and headjoint corks.
