This product is intended for children aged 8 months to 5 years and will help them begin to understand and read English very early, and develop their intellectual abilities. Each DVD includes two animated fairy tales, "Jack and the Beanstalk" and "The Two Sisters," plus comprehension and reading exercises based on words and phrases from these fairy tales. The exercises are organized by age group. The exercises include the introduction of various new words, phrases, questions about the stories, and spelling exercises. The exercises can be offered to the child directly after each fairy tale in a continuous cycle and do not require parental involvement. The practice exercises are interactive and designed to assess the child's comprehension and reading level after the introduction of words and phrases. These exercises may require parental assistance with remote control operation if the child is not independent at this level.
