Neo evening primrose is a plant rich in polyunsaturated fatty acids. The most important of them is Gamma-Linolenic Acid (GLA), which is part of the so-called Omega-6 fatty acids. These substances contribute to good cardiovascular, bone and hormonal health. Evening primrose oil plays greater importance in the female hormonal balance, regulating the symptoms associated with menstrual disorders and mastitis, according to several scientific studies. This is due to the natural calming capacity of Omega-6 fatty acids. But other virtues associated with this ingredient are known, such as the control of blood cholesterol and blood pressure; hydration of the skin to soothe irritations; or bone consolidation, thanks to its ability to promote calcium absorption and reduce its excretion through urine.
