Hydrangea serrata 'Daredevil', Japanese mountain hydrangea, 3-liter pot.

Hydrangea serrata 'Daredevil' is a striking and compact Japanese mountain hydrangea with spectacular leaf and flower colors. This ornamental shrub grows bushy and upright to about 75 cm tall, making it ideal for the front of a border, a small garden, or as an eye-catcher in a pot on a patio or balcony. What makes this hydrangea unique is the decorative, deep purple-green foliage that turns fiery red or orange in the autumn. In summer (June–July), flat corymb flowers appear in an intense pink to reddish-pink hue, which contrast beautifully with the dark foliage. The almost black stems give this plant extra character. Even as a dried flower, 'Daredevil' retains its deep color. 'Daredevil' is very hardy and prefers a spot in partial sun to light shade in nutritious, well-drained soil. Thanks to its compact growth habit and abundant flowering, this plant is an excellent choice for anyone seeking color, contrast, and character in the garden.
